Today, a friend wrote this to me:
"New Year's Eve is one of those nights that is supposed to be really fun, but never is. It's a night manufactured for dissapointment."

I'd wish you a Happy New Year's Eve, but I'm more inclined to read the above quote and nod in psuedo-cool, apathetic cynicism.
